Holiday Requests

From September 2013, the Department of Education have made amendments to the 2006 regulations regarding family holidays and extended leave during term time.

The amendments are clear that Headteachers may not grant any leave of absence during term time unless there are ‘exceptional’ circumstances.

If you wish to apply for leave of absence for your child during term time, please put your request in writing to the Headteacher stating the dates and the reason for the leave.
