Coseley School operates a Year Group Pastoral structure supporting the transition for students from Year 6 to Year 7.

Key Stage Co-ordinators and Form Tutors play an important role in the monitoring of academic progress and the overseeing of each individual student’s development across the curriculum, as well as the maintenance of good standards of behaviour, counselling and the resolution of personal difficulties.

Our Behaviour Managers work closely with all pastoral staff and manage the ‘Time Out’ resource at school which predominately deals with students who are removed from class due to bad behaviour.

The school also involves external agencies, such as Connexions, in order that the individual child’s needs are met.

All students are part of a tutor group, consisting of other students from their year group.

Form tutors are key contacts for students within the school and will monitor all aspects of their tutor groups’ progression.
