As we embark upon the last stages in our journey as a school, the commitment to our pupils remains resolute. We strive to ensure every child is provided with a range of learning opportunities which allows them to gain new skills, to find new talents and further develop their interests and abilities.
The Coseley School first opened its doors in 1968 and has always been at the heart of the community. As a school we sadly close our doors to pupils and staff at the end of the academic year 2016/2017. Our current year 11 pupils remain in school, focused and prepared to ensure we continue the school’s successes from the 2015-2016 academic year.
The 2016 summer results were remarkable. As a school we achieved 47% A*-C inc English and Maths. Our results meant we were the second most improved school in the Dudley Borough and saw a 16% increase on the 2015 summer results.
The Coseley School has always had a great reputation for being a very caring and supportive environment for pupils to learn in. The school remains very proud of its high standards of discipline, behaviour and uniform and is an example of what true teamwork can achieve through combining the dedication and enthusiasm of our staff with the motivation and commitment of our pupils.
The pupils will continue to receive the support, care and attention they have always had as a pupil of The Coseley School. Our ethos and motto of “Believe, Achieve, Excel” remains the same and we are fully committed to providing pupils with firm educational foundations that can assist their next steps in life after The Coseley School.
